David Leonhardt brings a unique blend of technical depth, hands-on experience, and genuine curiosity to his work. Although he began his career in accounting and tax right out of high school, he temporarily shifted gears and became an ASE Certified Automotive Technician at age 20, driven by his love of classic muscle cars from the 1960s and 70s. Even while working under the hood, he continued pursuing accounting, eventually returning to school and earning his CPA at age 30. David appreciates the professionalism, camaraderie, and shared values at DSWD, calling the team the most likable and highly qualified group he’s ever worked with. His honest, down-to-earth style makes him a trusted advisor to both clients and colleagues.
